This tour takes you to all the classic, must see attractions of Laos and more! Start with a city tour in the laid back capital Vientiane. Next stop is Vang Vieng, which surrounding karst mountains are riddled with caves that can be easily visited from town. Drive through a beautiful mountain scenery to Phonsavan, the gateway to the famous and mysterious Plain of Jars. Another panoramic drive brings you to Luang Prabang, the charming UNESCO World Heritage city. Enjoy the beautiful French colonial architecture and get inspired by its ancient temples. Get on a boat to cruise the mighty Mekong River and admire the famous Pak Ou Budha Caves. Visit the amazing Kuang Si waterfall, with its refreshing turqoise pools, and go to an elephant camp. A total Laos experience!

Day 1

Arrive in Vientiane Welcome to Vientiane, Arrive at Vientiane airport, and after customs & immigration formalities, transfer with your guide to your hotel. The rest of the day is free and rest at your leisurely. Overnigth in Vientiane. There are many excellent restaurants in Vientiane and you will easily find something to suit your taste. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2

Vientiane-City Tours-Buddha Park After that Enjoy a city tour to Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues. Visit Wat Simuang and Wat Prakeo, which was the original home of the famous Emerald Buddha, which today lives in Bangkok. There are many excellent restaurants in Vientiane, and you will easily find something to suit your taste. Visit the huge golden That Luang monument, where all Lao citizen respect as holy pagoda. Visit Vientiane’s own Victory Monument, which looks like the Arc de Triumphe.   This was built at the end of the Indochina wars with money rumoured to be American, and earmarked for the airport’s new runway.   Thus the departing Americans dubbed this monument the vertical runway! Have a look at the lovely arches inside the monument. Afternoon, We start to visit the major sight out of town about 30 km, visit Buddha Park, a blend of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by mystical monk on parkland located by the Mekong River and the impressive Lao- Thai Friendship Bridge. En route stop at Lao/Thai Bridge, taking photos before continue to the park. Overnight in Vientiane. Meals included: breakfast-Lunch

Day 3

Vientiane-Vang Vieng-Tours After breakfast, Meet your guide and we drive a head to Vang Vieng about 3hour drive. En route, Stop at DRY Fish Village to see local varies fish products at Houei Mor Village. Arrive in Vang Vieng, check in at your hotel. Afternoon, Visit Jang cave, where local hid inside during the Indochina war. We then cross Song river visit blue lagoon, where you can take nice photos, relax or soft hiking to visit Phoukham cave. You can explore Vang Vieng Walking Street Night Market at your leisurely in the evening. Overnight in Vang Vieng. Meals included: breakfast-Lunch

Day 4

Vang Vieng-Phonsavanh After breakfast, Meet your guide and We continue to Phosnavanh about 6-7hour drive. En route, stop at Street Hmong market at Junction Phoukhoun. Arrive in Xiengkhuang, Visit MAG Office Show Room, where you can watch bombing film during the Indochina war. Overnight in Phonsavanh. Meals included: breakfast-Lunch

Day 5

Phonsavanh-Plain of jars-Muang Khoun After breakfast, Meet your guide and Visit Phonsavah market to see local lives before we drive out to visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site 1 where hundreds of large stone jars are littered all over the plateau, also visit site 2 & site 3, both similar to site 1 but smaller than site 1. Afternoon, We continue visit the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. They have an interesting local culture and a colorful history. Some stupa, former French building, temples bombed by US Army during the Indochina war still be seen there. Overnight in Phonsavanh. Day 6

Phonsavanh– Luang Prabang After breakfast, Meet your guide and return to junction Phoukhoun and continue to Luang Prabang about 7hiur drive. The journey will take you over mountainous region to Luang Prabang. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. You can stop along the way, just consult with your guide. Arrive in Luang Prabang, check in at your hotel. Overnight at Luang Prabang Meals included: breakfast-Lunch

Day 7

Luang Prabang-Ancient City-Tours As an optional, Today you may want to get early to participate an Arm-Giving, hundreds of monks walking along Side Walk to collect rice and food from laymen. We then visit Fresh Morning Market at Prakam village. After breakfast, Meet your guide and Visit National museum, known as former royal palace, Visit Wat Mai, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, visit Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most charming temple in Laos, Visit Wat Sene, one of the oldest temple in Laos. Afternoon, Visit Ethnology Art Center, where you can find information about Laps hill tribes, and their daily sample materials. Visit Big Brother Mouse, where you can buy some books and donate some for poor children to remote area. After that visit Ock Pop Tok Weaving Center, where local are weaver and you can find some nice silks there: https://ockpoptok.com/, After that we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. After that return to your hotel. Meals included: breakfast-Lunch

Day 8

Hmong Village Trek– Kuang Si Waterfall After breakfast, Meet your guide and we will enjoy a short visit through the Luang Prabang countryside. On the way you pass through beautiful scenery and rural landscapes with rice terraces and pineapple fields. You visit Ban Long Lao, a local H’mong village where the culture, customs and language are all different to mainstream Laos. Your trek starts from the H’mong village and takes about three hours through primary forest and jungle on the way visit the Hermit cave and refreshment at the spring before reaching the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfall. Lunch can be taken at the falls with time for relaxation, swimming and the possibility to climb to the top of the waterfall. Afterwards you return to Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang Meals included: breakfast-Lunch

Day 9

Luang Prabang-Pak Ou Cave  After breakfast, Meet your guide and we enjoy a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the distillation of local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight at same hotel. Meals included: breakfast-Lunch

Luang Prabang-Depart Today, You are free and relax until your flight time, Meet your guide and Transfer you to airport for your departure to your next destination. End of trip. Meals included: breakfast
