Day 1

Day trip 1: Luang Prabang-Ancient Temple Tours-Kuang Sii Fall

Around 0830am, Meet your guide and Enjoy the ancient city tours included Visiting National museum, known as former royal palace, Visit Wat Mai, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, visit Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most charming temple in Laos. Visit Wat Sene, one of the oldest temple in Luang Prabang. We then cross Khan river by boom boo bridge to take nice photos.

Afternoon, We drive out of town 30km to the beautiful Kuang Sii Fall, where you can relax, Take nice photos, swim, also visit Bear Sanctuary Center at the water fall area. We then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. After that Transfer to your hotel.

Day trip 2: Luang Prabang-Living Land Lao Organic Farm-Kuang Sii Fall 

Around 0810am, Meet your guide and we drive to Living Land Lao Organic farm at Pung Van village: http://www.livinglandlao.org/, Upon arrival, your guide and the representative of the farm briefs about the historical and activity of the farm. Today attending a half day of rice experience including growing ride until stream ride. We also have time to visit the Organic products after rice experience.
Afternoon, We continue out of town 30KM to the beautiful Kuang Sii Fall, where you can swim, relax, take nice photos, soft hiking to the top of the fall, also visit Bear Sanctuary Center at the water fall area. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. Back to town, and transfer to your hotel.

Day trip 3: Luang Prabang-Pak Ou Cave

Around 0830am, Meet your guide and visit Traditional Art & Ethnology Center: http://www.taeclaos.org/, where you can find information about Lao hill tribes and their daily sample materials. We then visit Big Brother Mouse, where you can donate some reading books for poor children in remote area. After that we enjoy a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the distillation of local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong, well known for its hand weaving. After that return to town and transfer to your hotel.

Day Trip 4: Hmong Village Trekking-Kuang Si Waterfall

Around 0830am, Meet your guide and we will enjoy a short visit through the Luang Prabang countryside. On the way you pass through beautiful scenery and rural landscapes with rice terraces and pineapple fields. You visit Ban Long Lao, a local H’mong village where the culture, customs and language are all different to mainstream Laos. Your trek starts from the H’mong village and takes about three hours through primary forest and jungle on the way visit the Hermit cave and refreshment at the spring before reaching the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfall. Lunch can be taken at the falls with time for relaxation, swimming and the possibility to climb to the top of the waterfall. On return, Short stop at Black Hmong Village to see local lives. After that return to town, and transfer to your hotel.

Day trip 5: 1 Day Kayaking-Hill Tribe Village Tours and Elephant Riding

Around 8:30am, Meet your guide and We will drive to the south of Luang Prabang to the starting point at Ban Suanluang Village (takes 40 minutes, 20 km). Before paddling down stream, your guide will give you basic instructions for paddling and safety, for example how to behave after capsizing, in 5 to 10 minutes. Finally we can enter the Kayak and paddle with the current, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Visiting Suandara the tribal villages of Lao minorities set at the Khan River bank along the way we continue paddling down stream to Tadsae waterfall, then experience the Elephant Riding – bathing – feeding then we lunch at the waterfall, which will be served by local restaurant. After you enjoyed your lunch and spend the time exploring the beautiful scenic natural spot and swimming at the natural pool, then continue paddling down to Ban Xienglom village of Tai Yuan tribe, on the way you will experience more and more of the local people’s life, their living by agriculture. See how they grow vegetables, which are sold at the local market in town. The trip will be finished around 4:00 – 4:30 pm, we will transfer you back to the town and drop you off at your hotel.
